    Clinical Kits

I would like to know if the storage of clinical kits that are frequently used for the conduct of trials pose any risk at all if they are stored in a laboratory environment. The issue we have in our organisation is that majority of the clinical kits for the various clinical trials appear to be all stored within the laboratory and was wondering from a regulatory aspect would this be deemed sufficient or should they be need to be stored outside of the laboratory area.

    Thank You

Provided the kits are stored as per the storage conditions, there is a mechansim to ensure they are not used outside of the expiry date, and a secure but easily accessed by the staff who use them, then there should be no issue regarding storage in the laboratory.
