New LIMS- data migration

I was asked by colleagues at a recent TAG meeting to find out what the regulatory expectations are for data migration onto a new LIMS- with specific reference to:

1.Patient blood group and screen results
2.Special blood requirement flags.
3.Traceability data

Taking into consideration that the new LIMS may be replacing several systems where the patient identifiers may be in various formats (pre- NHS number use).
