I have been forwarded an email (below). Please consider if you are willing to engage in their survey.
Regards
Chris
Last year the James Lind Alliance Blood Donation and Blood Transfusion Priority Setting Partnership carried out a survey asking for questions for research about blood donation and the use of blood transfusion. You kindly completed this survey and indicated that you would be happy to reach out to patients and colleagues. We are hoping that you would help with the next stage of this project:
the prioritization survey.
Since this first survey, every survey response was considered carefully and they have now been analysed and checked against existing research to ensure that they are all true uncertainties. This has resulted in a list of 50 confirmed questions for research around the process of blood donation, the benefits and complications of a blood transfusion, the decision and the administration of a blood transfusion.
We are now looking for patients, carers and health professionals to help us narrow down the 50 questions into a shorter list to take to our final prioritisation workshop on
28 February 2018 where patients, carers and clinicians will come together to discuss and agree a final shortlist of questions for research.
Please help to get as many people as possible completing the
the prioritization survey by sharing this news through your networks. People can help by:
* tweeting about the survey being sure to link to the
the prioritization survey [
https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/DRFCZJ9] in the tweet
* writing your own story via your blog, and linking to the
the prioritization survey [
https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/DRFCZJ9]
* circulating the
the prioritization survey (or a link to the survey [
https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/DRFCZJ9]) by email or other channels
If you would be interested in attending the final workshop on Wednesday 28
th February in Oxford, please fill in your contact details at the end of the survey and one of the team will shortly be in email contact with you. Also, we would be grateful if you could pass details of the survey onto any colleagues, patient representatives or friends who you think would be interested in attending the workshop themselves.
We thank you for your assistance
