I have a blood fridge that has built in Chart Recorder which has developed a fault / plus another one which I am having real difficulty sourcing the chart paper - so was wondering if anyone has taken the leap and determined that they are obsolete attachments to appliances?
At present we get annual mapping (UKAS standard check on the appliance chamber) and maintenance checks performed, plus have a separate temperature monitoring system which also is UKAS Calibrated and alarms when temperatures are out of their specified ranges. Whilst the chart recorders are checked / reviewed retrospectively at end of week to look for any peaks ... but sometimes find that it's stopped recording half way through the week ??
Any feedback / thoughts on this matter will be gratefully appreciated - thanks
