Biomedical Scientist Empowerment and Discussion Group: Smarter Blood Stock Management

Good blood stock management is necessary to ensure appropriate utilisation of a precious resource. Not stocking enough can put patients at risk or disrupt services. Stocking too much can deplete supplies held by stock holding units to insufficient levels.

    • Sophie Staples, Lead Specialist, Blood Stocks Management Scheme, NHS Blood and Transplant
    • Danny Gaskin, Patient Blood Management Practitioner, NHS Blood and Transplant

    • Anas Nasir, Specialist Biomedical Scientist, Viapath

    • When? 31st March 21
    • What time? 2PM
