SHOT Symposium 2021 - Free places available, abstract submission deadline extended to Fri 14 May

    Dear Colleagues,

Were you aware that free places are available for the 2021 Annual SHOT Symposium, which has a fantastic programme over 14 and 15 July, 2021?

To be awarded a free place you are encouraged to submit an abstract under one of these 3 topics:

    • Transfusion Education
    • Quality Improvement/Acknowledging Continuing Excellence
    • Audit, Quality Improvement Projects

If your abstract is accepted you will receive a complimentary delegate day pass to the whole virtual symposium, and the two highest scoring abstracts will have the prestigious opportunity to present a live oral presentation to the international transfusion community.

Abstracts are a great way to demonstrate your research and analytical skills. SHOT abstracts are published in Transfusion Medicine. The British Blood Transfusion Society will accept abstracts that have been submitted to SHOT as well, allowing an even wider reach.

We have extended our deadline to Friday 14 May, 2021, to enable even more people to be involved.

More information and abstract submission guidance can be found at https://www.shotuk.org/annual-shot-symposium/annual-shot-symposium-2021/

Any queries, please do get in touch.

    Kind regards,

    The SHOT Team
