I am working with a company which has subsidiaries grouped together under a parent organisation. The parent organisation is planning to sponsor a clinical trial, and will be outsourcing to a CRO to run it. However, the parent company does not have the in house expertise to perform sponsor oversight activities, but one of the subsidiaries does. Would it be acceptable for the subsidiary to perform the sponsor oversight activities?
