Storage of investigational product and serum samples within the same freezer.
Can anyone signpost me to the appropriate schedule in legislation that would prevent the concurrent storage of IMP and blood product in the same freezer? I understand that at all costs it hopefully be avoided.
I can see some guidance from the CDC (which I respect is well out of our legislature) that does advise that of necessary, it can be separated into trays, or that blood products (serum) must be kept on the bottom shelf and vaccine kept on the top to avoid any risk of contamination.
I am struggling to find relevant reference in UK documentation.
