Quick question, on the BCR is whole blood the same as Red cells or would it need to come under "other"

In the BSQR Whole blood and Red Cells are distinct components. In what context are you referring to exactly within the BCR to give a better answer?

In SABRE Whole blood is distinct from Red cells, however in previous Blood compliance report its not.
The list in section A its:
Red Cells
FFP/Cryo
Platelets
Other
Autologous pre-depost components.

Hi,

Have now discussed this with an Inspector and the consensus is that it makes sense to include in the "Other" row. However, if it has been included in red cells row, it is unlikely to make a difference to how the BCR is assessed.
