    Retention of paper competency records

To settle a 'debate': Providing that there is a database/spreadsheet containing all of the relevant information-how long would you expect paper copies of competency documentation to be retained for to comply with BSQR?

According to the Blood Safety and Quality Regulations (BSQR), it's typically necessary to keep paper competency records for at least 15 years to maintain traceability and meet quality standards. We follow this practice as a precaution, even though a digital database with all pertinent information satisfies the regulatory requirements for security, accessibility, and auditability.
